Space Chimps (2008)

"We're from Earth, you know iTunes, Greenhouse Gasses and David Beckham"

A nice family film with a great script and funny at times, wasn't a great film. I've already forgotten what it was about. 2/5

Planet 51 (2009)

Caught this film by chance and I'm so glad I watched it. Its got superb animation, brilliant special FX and an awesomely funny script. Why have I only just heard of Planet 51? 4/5

Enchanted (2007)

Holy Disney film Batman! It's absolutely bonkers. A typical Disney film. Keep an eye out for this fake Singh 2/5

The Santa Clause (1994)

One of my favourite christmas films. It's a fun family film with a great story and cast. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to appreciate the film. 3/4

Aladdin (1992)

A perfect start to Christmas Day with this Disney masterpiece. Brings be right back to my childhood. Love it 5/5

Brave (2012)

Girl forced to get arranged marriage. Girl runs away. Girls finds Witch who creates her a spell to change her mother. Mother turns into a Bear. Dad tries to kill Bear. Spell gets reversed just in time. Not the greatest Disney/Pixar film and it lacked the emotional connection as Pixar are famous for. 3/5

Scarface (1983)

One mans dream to be powerful comes true but with grave consequences... The power went to his head! It feels like its the first time I've watched Scarface as there was so many scenes I didn't remember. Superb film if not ever so slightly dated. 5/5

Four Christmases (2008)

Romantic comedy with a great cast. Vince Vaughn is awesome as usual. 3/5

Back To The Future Part 3 (1990)

Absolutely fantastic! The perfect end to a perfect trilogy. Everything about the film is spot on, The cast, script, soundtrack, directing. Its even better in HD! Perfect! 5/5

Spy Kids 3: Game Over (2003)

Oooo it's bad... Poor excuse for a film, it's a shame really as its got an all star cast. 1/5

The Revenant (2009)

The Undead, Guns and Badguys. What's not to love? Good film with a creepy ending, freaked me out! 4/5

Dredd (2012)

Karl Urban is surprising good as Dredd, I keep seeing him as Bones after Star Trek. It's a good film, with a striking resemblance to The Raid. I like films like these, short and sweet, with great special FX. Would have loved to have seen it in 3D. 4/5

The Happiness of Katakuris (2002)

The initial animated sequence really set the tone for the film, WTF? This is some trippy shit! but I like it.

Well I can honestly say that this is my 1st ever Japanese Zombie Musical.

It reminded me a bit of Shallow Grave

Once climatised, it's actually a good film albeit bonkers and insane! 3/5

I Am Legend (2007)

Great apocalyptic drama with a unique twist. Will Smith is awesome as usual. 5/5

Deck The Halls (2006)

Still a cheesy family film and not exactly the highlight of Broderick's career but it seems marginally better then the last time I watched it. 2/5

Back To The Future Part 2 (1989)

It really is a true testament to how good a film actually is by how engrossed you get into it. BTTF2 is absolutely fantastic, it always has been and it always will be. 5/5

Mr and Mrs Smith (2005)

Is it intentionally meant to be funny? I found it hilarious!great film and Brangelina have been perfectly cast for the film. Wacky and awesome, love it 3/5

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1995)

Everything about this film screams that I shouldn't like it. The acting is awful, the story line is weak the bad guy is lame the special fx were dated in 1995 but I still love it. There's something about the film which brings me right back to my childhood where I was a huge fan of the series. 3/5

Keith Lemon: The Film (2012)

Surreal, weird and trippy but to be honest I didn't really expect anything else. It's good to see Leeds mentioned so many times, glad I didn't watch it in the cinema 2/5

Superman 3 (1983)

How can a film be so awesome and rubbish at the same time? If it wasn't for the brilliant acting of Christopher Reeve and Richard Pryor this film would hate it. 3/5

The Inbetweeners Movie (2011)

It's the 3rd time I've watched this since its release last year and its still funny but since watching the American Inbetweeners I've sort of gone of this. 4/5

Ted (2012)

Ted is funny! Loved it, some great lines! I kinda wish Ted was real. 4/5

Looper (2012)

"I'm from the future, TRUST ME you should goto China"

I really enjoyed it. It's great to finally see a new concept for a film.

The cast is great, The story is cool. the future looks awesome, if not a little buggered. Bruce Willis is and will always be awesome in action roles. 4/5

Dr. No (1962)

https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNWNjNGU5ZjUtMzc0MC00MWY5LTkxMGUtMjcxZmM2MDYzYzQ4XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMjUzOTY1NTc@._V1_FMjpg_UX1000_.jpg

Iconic! Dr. No is a great film, it's dated now but it was a head of its time in the 60s. Sean Connery made the perfect 1st Bond. 4/5

Skyfall (2012) [Cinema]

I had high hopes for Skyfall and I feel let down. The film itself is great, Action, Adventure and Espionage, but as a Bond film it's not. The film lacked something, I didn't care for the bad guy with a dodgy accent. I wasn't keen on the new Q, I just didn't get the 007 buzz and excitement which comes standard with newer Bond films.

It was almost as if Skyfall was a preview to the real Bond? Disappointed 3/5

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008)

"Dude, She gave me a Blumpkin!"

I know the Harold & Kumar films aren't for everyone's taste but I absolutely loved this. Filled with awesome 1 liners, a great cast and stupid jokes they have certainly improved on the 1st iconic film.

I love the cameos from NPH too, brilliant. 5/5

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

Simply fantastic, great film and Spielberg at his best. Sean Connery is perfectly cast as Indiana's dad.

Action, Adventure with Nazis, what's not to love? 5/5

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

I must have seen this film at least 100 times and every time I watch it I see something new.

Did anyone spot the Obi Wan Club at the beginning in Shanghai? A great tribute to the Star Wars franchise.

I think this is definitely one of George Lucas' finest moments.

Chilled Monkey Brain for dessert anyone? 5/5

The Watch (2012)

"It's 2012, can't you just get a ball transplant?"

Zany and wacky comedy with an oddball cast. Has some funny moments but goes a bit weird in the second half. 3/5

Total Recall (2012)

What do you get if you cross I robot, The 5th Element with the original Total Recall? You get Total Recall 2012. It's pretty good actually with great special effects and action. This is what In Time should have been like 3/5

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

I honestly thought that I had seen all of this film but I didn't even remember half of it. With a film thats got a great script, iconic scenes and a legendary soundtrack, what could possibly go wrong? A great start to the Indiana Jones trilogy (the 4th one never existed in my book!) 4/5

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)

Absolutely fantastic! 5/5

Cockneys vs Zombies (2012)

The Walking Dead meets Lock Stock

There's Cockneys and there's Zombies. What's not to love? I'm a bit bored of typical American Zombie shows and films and this brings it right back to London. Funny and wacky, Win! 3/5

The Expendables 2 (2012)

"If I don't get her back, your ass is terminated!"

Loved it, Action, Cheese, Adventure, A great cast and a simple story! I wonder how many people died in the film? It's mental!

Taken 2 (2012) [Cinema]

I will find you (again), I will kill you (again)

Liam Neeson is back and he's just as bad ass as before. The gangsters in Part 1 want their revenge as Neeson killed almost everyone!

The film is simple, bad guys want revenge and kidnap Neesons Family. Neeson kills everyone who gets in his way of getting them back. I swear he killed everyone. Awesome!

I can see Neeson joining The Avengers 2! 5/5

Prometheus (2012)

It's been a while since I've watched a film let alone reviewed one. I thought that Prometheus was a good film to start it off.

Since Prometheus was announced I've had no real desire to watch it, I mean I knew I will watch it but just not fussed about seeing it in the cinema as I'm not really a huge fan of Ridley Scott (I've never seen Aliens).

The film is well creepy! The humanoid aliens are awesome and the story is alright. It's a good film but not really my cup of tea.

I loved Idris Elba even with his dodgy American accent! 4/5

Avengers Assemble (2012)

"How desperate are you where you call upon such lost souls to help you"

Has it really been 5 months since I saw Avengers in the cinema? Avengers is absolutely fantastic, I loved the film in the cinema and its just as good on Blu-Ray. The cast is perfect and Loki is a great villain.

Tony Stark steals the show once again. 5/5

Men In Black 3

"Duh, it's called Time Jump!"

Well it's better than MIB 2 and the awful villain Johnny Knoxville played. This was enjoyable, fun and Will Smith totally makes the film. Josh Brolin was great as a young Agent K and I loved the little twist at the end. 3/5

Jackass 3D (2010)

Crazy, just crazy 3/5

Superman 3 (1983)

IMDB has given Superman 3 a 4.9/5 but I totally disagree with this rating. Superman 3 does have its flaws but it's still a great film in my opinion.

I loved the whole storyline with the dodgy Kryptonite and the Evil Superman, it was awesome seeing Clark and Evil Superman fight it out in the Scrap Yard. A true testament to the acting ability of Reeve.

Richard Pryor was cast perfect for the role of August the computer hacker who helped bring a comedy eliment into the film too. 4/5

Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow (2004)

Visually Stunning, its quite obviously all green screen but after 10 minutes you soon learn to accept it as part of the film. It actually helps to make the film what it is.

I really enjoyed it but everything in my being tells me I shouldn't. It's a strange mix of retro and futuristic set in 1939 but there are some impressive technologies which are quite similar to the now dated Steampunk era, which was so popular a few years back.

Sky Captain without a doubt puts Captain America to shame.

I loved the huge robots, they really set the tone for the film along with the flying bird like ships. Unique and awesome.

I don't know, maybe I had a couple too-many Shandy's last night or I'm still half asleep but this was the perfect film to watch on a Sunday Morning after my Son woke me up at 5.45. 4/5

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

The second of the Tobey Maguire films starts off great, it's shows Peters human side where he's struggling with the mixed identities, trying to fit everything in and always disappointing someone. Even through this film is 8 years old I still get chills as spidey flys through manhattan, fantastic!

The film is quite obviously more polished then part one and Tobey is improved in his role as Spidey.

My favourite scene in the film is when Spidey is in an elevator with and a guy pops in, the scene captures the humour and awkwardness of the film perfectly.

Doctor Octavius is a formidable character who becomes even more-so after the initial incident. He's a believable villain, well in the context of the film anyway!

Overall, I loved this film it's awesome! 5/5

Titan A.E. (2000)

I've read that Titan A.E. had mixed reviews but I honestly can't see why? IMDB have rated it 6.5/10 but this is defiantly a 5/5 film for me.

The story is based around Cale Tucker (who's a bit of a pain to begin with) he is the last hope for a new Earth as the current Earth has been destroyed by the evil Drej who's only mission is to destroy the Human Race. I kind of liked the Drej, they were pure energy and blue, reminded me of the aliens from a Tomytronic toy I had as a kid.

The soundtrack is great and I think it fits right into the animation of the film if not slightly cheesy, but hey who said cheese isn't good right?

It's a great film which I haven't seen in a few years and I've now got a tough decision to make, whether I add this film into my all time favourites or not. One thing is for sure, I'm buying the Blu-Ray 5/5

Cruel Intentions (1999)

"Whenever I feel the temptation of peer pressure, I turn to god"

13 years ago amongst the pressures of University and family problems rose this film. I was asked to go see this film in the cinema whilst not knowing or even heard of this film it certainly left a lasting impression. The story is great, deception, lies and deceit and that's just Sarah Michelle Gellars role!

I love seeing the Retroness of the Internet 13 years later, the technology may have aged but the story hasn't. The soundtrack is fantastic which has blended perfectly with the film. Rodger Kumble has done a brilliant job of directing this film. 5/5

The Bourne Identity (2002)

Maaaatttt Daaaamooonnnn

Great film, plenty of action and who knew that Matt Damon was bad ass! I love films like these where your not sure what's quite happening. 3/5

The Island (2005)

"You have been chosen, you are special, you want to goto the Island"

A great futuristic film whilst keeping with the true nature of Michael Bay films. It has a similar same style and feel as Transformers.

McGregor's accent is great, it's always a sign of a good actor who can change his accent so easily. Good stuff! 4/5

The Dictator (2012)

"Can you make is more pointy, round is not scary"

Great film but not as funny the second time round and totally surreal. Don't watch this expecting a deep and meaningful film as its full of typical Sasha Baron Cohen jokes. Full off very cheap laughs and one liners in the true nature of Cohen.

Did I mention the soundtrack was awesome. I actually want to visit Wadia now. 4/5
