This was the perfect ending to the Star Wars Skywalker saga.

It's big, ridiculous, emotional and completely over the top.

There's so much packed into this film that at times it feels like someone at Disney had a massive checklist and was determined to tick every single box before the credits rolled.

I know this film gets a lot of stick, and I'm sure there are people who could spend several hours explaining everything that's wrong with it, but I had a blast.

I've always thought of Star Wars as a massive Space Opera, and this feels exactly like the ridiculously dramatic final act it deserves.

After nine films, countless lightsaber battles, several missing hands and one family causing absolute chaos across an entire galaxy...

The Skywalker saga was finally over.
